Journal Entry #10 Outline

Lessons learned
I. Do good things for people and you will be rewarded.
A. Helped my friends and family.
1. Helped my mom and dad do chores and was rewarded with a Xbox 360.
2. Helped my sisters friend clean his house and was rewarded with a PSP.
B. Working at my uncle and auntie’s store is fun.
1. Helped my uncle bring tourist into his store and was rewarded with 20 dollars.
2. Helped my auntie sweep her salon floor and was rewarded with clothes.
II. Getting along with family members make family happy.
A. Went to a Christmas party/family reunion.
1. My mom finally got along with my cousins, uncle, and auntie from my dad’s side of the family.
2. My brother got along with our cousin and played with each other all day.
B. Went to the beach with the family.
1. All the little kids hung out at the beach and got to know each other a little bit more.
2. My mom, her sisters, and her brothers had a barbeque at the beach and I heard them laughing
with joy.
I learned that when you help family and friends with things you will be rewarded. I helped my mom and dad do chores and I was rewarded with a Xbox 360. I learned that getting along with family members make family happy. When we were at the party/reunion my brother finally got along with our cousin. We went to the beach with our family. All the kids all hung out together and got to know each other a little more. I saw my mom’s sisters, and brothers laughing in joy and it made me happy.

Ways to take a good picture!

If you have a light eyes and you don’t want red eye to show up on your photo you have to change the flash to the red eye feature. If you take a picture and there is shadow on your face you need to use fill flash to brighten up the shadow areas. If you take a picture and the back isn’t focused then you need to use DOF(Depth Of Field) to make the shutter large so it could be focused. If your picture is to low on contrast (black, grey…) you have to make the contrast higher so the color can be more brighter. If you take a picture and an area is too bright and the other areas are dark then that means you have low exposure and you nedd to get higher exposure.
When you take a picture of yourself and the background is too bright and there is shadows on your face it that means your backlit is too bright and you have to go to a certain area that is not to bright. If you want to take a focused picture then you have to use auto focus so it can focus automatically. If you want to take a picture of a flower close-up you have to use macro feature so the picture doesn’t come out blurry. If you want to take a picture with flash you have to use the hotshoe located on top of the camera. If you want good quality in your photo you have to have good resolution.

Halloween Homework

On Friday October 31 2008 there was a Halloween dance at the gym at UMS. It was very fun. Some of the students were helping to sell drinks, snacks, shaved ice, and glow sticks. There was a lot of students holding glow sticks that’s why it looked so cool. It was very hot in the gym so I bought 4 cups of shaved ice.
Around 2:30 a lot of people got angry including me because some of the students were confescating our glow sticks. They confescated them because some kids were breaking the glow sticks and spilling them on their shoes and on the floor. The glow sticks were poisonous so they confescated them. 10 minutes before the dance ended one of the speakers got overheated and burned out so every one in the gym had to get out of the gym for 2 minutes then we went back in.They put in a new speaker then we all started dancing.It was a fun day.

My favorite birthday was on September 6, 2008. When I woke up that morning, my mom was the first one to say “Happy birthday”, then my dad said “Happy birthday”,then my brother. Me and my mom went to my grandmas house so we could go shopping.My grandma gave me ten dollars. After we were done shopping, we went to my aunties store. She gave me 50 dollars. After we went to my aunties store my mom dropped me to the mall. I went to go eat at the food court,then I saw one of my friend named Albert Park. We went to buy movie tickets, then we saw Reuben so we asked him if he wanted to watch a movie with us.
After the movie, we rode the roller coaster. We got bored so we went to G3 to play Halo 3 on the xbox 360.G3 was packed with people so we had to wait in line. One of the employee called our names so we played Halo3. I was depresssed because I was last place.My mom kept on calling me on my phone, but I didn’t answer my phone because I was to busy playing Halo 3. When I checked my phone there was 4 missed calls and it was my mom.When I called my mom she was angry.Then she told me to find her than we went home.

She was born in GMH. She has four brothers and one sister. Her sisters name is Sabrina and her brothers names are Jonathan,Dennis,Ronald,and Rene Francis. Her favorite channel is channel 44. When she grows up she would want to be a teacher,arcatec,and a singer.
